Un Foodstock al giorno sarebbe una ricetta ideale per sollevare il morale dalle noie quotidiane, soprattutto in vista delle lunghe serate che ci attendono nel periodo invernale.
E' esattamente il tipo di manifestazione che vorresti avere davanti agli occhi appena uscito da lavoro: non propriamente una festa del vino e neanche del cibo di strada ma una vera e propria festa del gusto a 360 gradi.
A daily Foodstock would be a great recipe to rise the morale of the daily hassles, especially in view of the long winter's evenings.
It's exactly the kind of event that you would like to find when you go out of work: not only a celebration of wine or even street food but a real party of taste.

sia gli spuntini più classici come hamburger e pizza sia piatti tipici della tradizione italiana più inconsueti come i necci lunigiani, l'arancino siculo, la "zampanella" (specie di crêpe molto sottile e croccante), il lampredotto fiorentino e tanti altri.
A party where you can find your friends, neighbors, colleagues, to be able to dine together, drink a good glass of wine, have a chat ... have relax.
We have noted with pleasure and amazement that attended the event people of all ages, including many families with children!
A party for everyone thanks to the various stands of Street Food Arena where traditional foods such as burgers and pizza and more unusual foods of Italian tradition such as Lunigian "Necci", Sicilian "Arancini", Emilian "Zampanella" (a kind of pancake thin and crispy), Florentine "Lamprey" and many others were all prepared at the moment.
I membri dell'associazione Cavolo a Merenda hanno saputo gestire i tanti partecipanti con destrezza e cordialità. Anche se si sono create lunghe file per ritirare i piatti ordinati (ma d’altra parte tutto veniva preparato sul posto, non c’era niente di precotto), si sono sempre prodigati di alleggerire l'attesa parlando e coinvolgendo gli affamati avventori.
The members of the assosaciation Cavolo a Merenda have managed the many participants with dexterity and warmth. Even if there were created long lines to pick up the dishes ordered (due to everything was prepared on the moment, there was nothing pre-cooked), have always labored to alleviate the waiting talking and involving everybody.
Il vino del Chianti Rufina, servito in veri calici da degustazione, ha accompagnato il pasto e le chiacchiere di paese. Si potevano scegliere i vari vini delle Cantine del Consorzio, con prezzi diversi a seconda della qualità del prodotto. La Street Food Arena verso tarda notte aveva più l'aspetto di una elegante enoteca a cielo aperto animata da gruppi di ragazzi riuniti a vari tavoli e dal piacevole sottofondo del Dj Set allestito in Piazza.
The Chianti Rufina's wine, served in real glasses for the tasting, accompanied the meal and the talk. It was possible to choose the different wines of the Consorzio, with different prices depending on the quality of the product. The Street Food Arena, late at night, had more the appearance of an elegant wine bar, animated by groups of young people and pleasant background of Dj Set set up.
Ottima la scelta di allestire il palco dei concerti in una piazza diversa da quella dedicata alle vivande, in modo da non assordare chi stava a tavola e offrire un ampio spazio a chi invece voleva ballare.
Excellent the choice to put on the concert stage in a different place from the one dedicated to the food, so as not to deafen those who were at the table and provide ample space to those who wanted to dance.
Impossibile tenere a freno le gambe con l'incredibile energia dei "The Real Mother Funkers". Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto seguire altri concerti, ma i gruppi che hanno partecipato erano veramente validi.
Impossible not to dance with the incredible energy of "The Real Mother Funkers". Unfortunately we could not follow other concerts, but the groups that participated were really good.
Le aree principali della festa erano raggiungibili a piedi percorrendo la via principale del centro storico di Pontassieve: per l’occasione erano aperti tutti i negozi, così da rendere più animata la strada. In particolare forni e macellerie avevano allestito propri banchi sul marciapiede e contribuire con un assaggio dei loro prodotti.
The main areas of the event were reached walking along the main street of the old Pontassieve: for the occasion all the shops were open, so as to make the way most animated. In particular, bakeries and butcher shops had set up their stands on the sidewalk with a taste of their products.
Per nutrire anche l'aspetto culturale della serata sono state allestite delle mostre d'arte, una conferenza, due degustazioni guidate ai migliori prodotti del Chianti Rufina (tra cui è stato selezionato il nostro Canto Lupo) e una per le birre artigianali.
To feed also the cultural aspect of the evening were arranged art exhibitions, conference, two tastings of the best products of Chianti Rufina (where has been selected also our Canto Lupo) and one beers tasting.
Un plauso anche per aver pensato all'Area "Piccoli Chef" con un laboratorio culinario per i più piccoli e aver coinvolto anche tante associazioni di volontariato locali.
Data la grande affluenza alla manifestazione ed il successo riscontrato, ci piacerebbe davvero se Foodstock fosse inaugurato di nuovo... già da stasera.
A praise also for thinking about the "Little Chef Area" with a culinary workshop for children and for involving many local voluntary associations.
Due to the large turnout at the event and the success, we'd really like if foodstock was opened again ... as soon as tonight.
