XIV Rotarolio - Incontro tra olio e vino nello stesso menu

Da ben quindici anni il Rotary Club Mugello organizza il “RotarOlio”, un concorso dedicato all'assaggio dell’Olio di Oliva prodotto nel territorio mugellano dai soci rotariani.

Negli anni questa sfida ha migliorato e implementato la formula di partecipazione e di giudizio, al fine di coinvolgere e partecipare gli appassionati ma anche di stimolare la ricerca e la conoscenza del prodotto stesso.


For the past fifteen years the Rotary Club Mugello organizes the "RotarOlio", a competition dedicated to the taste of olive oil produced in the Mugello by Rotary members.
 
Over the years this challenge has improved and implemented the formula of participation and judgment, in order to engage and make participate enthusiasts but also to stimulate the research and knowledge of the product itself.

Questa edizione si è svolta presso il Castello di Villanova a Barberino di Mugello, in collaborazione tra l'Interclub Noi del Fiesole, il R.C. Firenze Nord, il R.C. Firenze Amerigo Vespucci, il R.C.Mugello e il R.C. San Casciano-Chianti.

This edition took place at the Castle of Villanova in Barberino di Mugello, in collaboration between the Interclub Noi del Fiesole, the R.C. Firenze Nord, the R.C. Firenze Amerigo Vespucci, the R.C.Mugello and the R.C. San Casciano-Chianti.

Il concorso si svolge nel corso di una riunione rotariana conviviale con ospiti durante la quale gli oli vengono assaggiati e degustati in abbinamento con idonee pietanze.

Per rendere onore al vero protagonista della serata, lo chef Luigi Incrocci ha studiato e preparato uno speciale menu dove l'olio d'oliva è stato esaltato in ogni singola portata, dall'antipasto al dolce.

The competition is held at the Rotary convivial meeting with guests during which some different olive oils are tasted and tasted in combination with suitable dishes.

To honor the true star of the evening, the chef Luigi Incrocci had studied and prepared a special menu where olive oil was exalted in each serving, from the starter to the dessert.

Anche l'abbinamento dei vini è stato scelto con cura, proponendo l'assaggio di diversi prodotti della nostra Cantina. 
La Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, col suo gusto asciutto e fresco, è stata servita con l'aperitivo e i due primi, mentre il Chianti D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, più tannico e corposo, è stato servito con il secondo.
Il dessert è stato infine accompagnato dall'aroma intenso e penetrante del Vin Santo Cantine Bellini.

Even the wine pairing was chosen with care, to offer the taste of different products of our winery.
The Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, with its dry taste and fresh, was served with the appetizer and the firsts dishes, while the Chianti D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, more tannic and full-bodied, has been served with the second dish.
The dessert was finally accompanied with an intense and penetrating Vin Santo Cantine Bellini.

Durante la cena, via via che venivano servite le pietanze, lo chef ha spiegato ai commensali le sue scelte gastronomiche, guidando i giurati nella degustazione dei diversi oli in gara. 

During dinner, while the food was served, the chef explained to diners its gastronomic choices, so to lead the jurors in the tasting of the different oils in the race.

L'organizzazione del catering è stata affidata all'impeccabile associazione “Obiettivo Francesco”, al fine di aiutare a finanziare progetti missionari; l’evento quindi è stato anche un’occasione di solidarietà

Al termine della serata due giurie, una popolare e l’altra composta da esperti, hanno premiato i primi tre migliori oli e le prime tre etichette.

The organization has been entrusted to the impeccable catering association "Obiettivo Francesco", in order to help fund mission projects; the event was also an occasion for solidarity
 
At the end of the evening two juries, one popular and the other made up of experts, have rewarded the top three best oils and the first three labels.

Alla serata erano presenti il Vice Ministro Sen. Riccardo Nencini, il Sindaco di Barberino di Mugello Giampiero Mongatti, il panel della Camera di Commercio Cristian Marianelli, il Dr. Roberto Ariani per l’Accademia Italiana della Cucina, il Prof. Nicola Comodo dell'Accademia dei Georgofili ed altri autorevoli esperti del settore.

Un bell’incontro di amicizia e convivialità in un affascinante Castello a cui siamo lieti di aver dato un piccolo contributo, impreziosita dalla gentile ospitalità della Sig.ra Daniela Milleri proprietaria della Villa. 

The evening was attended by the Deputy Minister Sen. Riccardo Nencini, the Mayor of Barberino di Mugello Giampiero Mongatti, the panel of the Chamber of Commerce Cristian Marianelli, Roberto Arians for the Italian Academy of Cuisine, the Prof. Nicola Comodo of the Georgofili Academy and other leading industry experts.

A very nice event of friendship and conviviality in a fascinating castle to which we are pleased to have made a small contribution, enhanced by the kind hospitality of Mrs. Daniela Milleri owner of the villa.

Il Chianti Rufina presiede l'incontro enogastronomico di Pieve di Sant'Agata

A prima vista questo evento potrebbe sembrare una classica sagra parrocchiale di fine estate ma dietro le apparenze ci sono molte sorprese da svelare. Anzi tutto è doveroso sottolineare che questa manifestazione è da sempre presieduta dall'A.I.S., che ogni anno partecipa con numerosi sommelier alla degustazione di vini di gran pregio. Storicamente alla festa venivano presentati e distribuiti vini del Consorzio Chianti Classico.

Quest'anno per la prima volta il Chianti Rufina ha avuto l'onore di sostiture il Chianti Classico ed essere convocato per questo incontro enogastronomico che rappresenta un banco di prova importante per saggiare la qualità del vino.  

At first, this event may seem a classic parish festival of late summer but behind the appearances there are many surprises to be revealed. First of all it must be stressed that this event has always been chaired by A.I.S., which annually participates with many sommeliers that taste wines of great value. Historically, at the event, were presented and distributed the wines of the Consorzio Chianti Classico.

This year, for the first time, the Chianti Rufina had the honor to replace the Chianti Classico and be called for this meeting gastronomic representing a major test for testing the quality of the wine.

Per una sera il Chianti Rufina è stato "sulla bocca di tutti" i professionisti del gusto accorsi alla cena che hanno potuto mettere alla prova le loro capacità sensoriali, discutere tra di loro e confrontarsi sulla qualità del vino offerto. 

L'opportunità per i produttori è stata quella di "affrontare" il giudizio di una nutrita schiera di assaggiatori e di rinnovare la propria reputazione, sperando poi di essere iscritti sulle carte dei vini di nuovi locali o ristoranti.

For one night, the Chianti Rufina was "on the mouth" of the professionals flocked to taste dinner and test their sensory skills, discuss with each other and exchange views on the quality of the wine offered.

The opportunity for manufacturers was to "deal with" the judgment of a large group of tasters and to renew its reputation, hoping then to be registered on the menù of new premises or restaurants.

Al termine delle degustazioni guidate, Massimo Castellani, presidente A.I.S. Firenze, ha esposto al pubblico una breve descrizione del progetto missionario in Cameroun, al quale sono stati devoluti tutti gli entroiti della serata, e una presentazione del Consorzio Chianti Rufina.

At the end of the guided tastings, Massimo Castellani, president of A.I.S. Florence, explained to the audience, with a brief description, the missionary project in Cameroun, to whom were donated all the profits of the evening, and a presentation of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina.

Subito dopo è iniziata la cena, rigorosamente accompagnata da vino. E' in questo momento che l'incontro enogastronomico è entrato nel vivo e i nostri vini hanno dovuto affrontare una nuova prova: l'abbinamento a piatti semplici della tradizione toscana. Il prestigio di vini corposi e sapidi si misura nell'elevare una rustica cena all'aria aperta in un viaggio nel gusto.

Immediately after, the dinner began, strictly accompanied by wine. It's at this time that the meeting gastronomic came alive and our wines have been facing a new test: the combination with simple dishes of the Tuscan tradition. The prestige of full-bodied and savory wines is measured in raising a rustic dinner outdoors on a journey into taste.

Il classico antipasto toscano (crostini e salumi) è risultato sicuramente più adatto alle note vivaci del Dominante Am@uZ. Una nota di merito particolare va alla pasta al ragù di carne. Le volontarie che hanno cucinato questo primo hanno creato un vero capolavoro. Aggiungendo le note intense di frutti di bosco del Chianti Rufina Riserva Cantine Bellini abbiamo provato sensazioni gustative magnifiche. Per concludere, la porchetta ci ha portato verso un trionfante finale avvolto dal vinoso velluto del Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo Annata. Magistralmente confezionate anche la crostata marmellata albicocche e la schiacciata con l'uva, offerti come dessert.

The classic Tuscan antipasto (croutons and salami) was definitely more suited to the lively notes of the wine Dominante of the  Am@uZ line. A note of credit goes to the pasta with meat sauce. The volunteers who cooked this first have created a masterpiece. Adding the intense notes of berries of the Chianti Rufina Riserva Cantine Bellini we found magnificent taste sensations. Finally, the pork has led to a triumphant finish, wrapped in the velvet vinous of the Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo Annata. Masterfully packaged also the tart apricot jam and the crushed with the grapes, offered as a dessert.

Padre Ugo ha ringraziato tutti partecipanti, dando il via alle premiazioni dell'attesissima lotteria. I biglietti (più di 300) sono esauriti già dal primo pomeriggio. I premi messi in palio erano bottiglie magnum di altissima qualità.
Con orgoglio abbiamo notato che la nostra la bottiglia Magnum di  Dominante Am@uZ è stata abbinata al primo premio. L'etichetta in tela dipinta a mano direttamente da Maurizio Baccili, con i colori della bandiera del Cameroun, ha impreziosito questa bottiglia rendendola una vera opera d'arte.

Father Ugo thanked all participants and started the lottery. The tickets (more than 300) were exhausted early in the afternoon. The prizes were Magnum bottles of the highest quality.
With pride we noticed that our bottle of Magnum Dominante Am@uZ was combined with the first prize. The label on canvas painted by hand directly from Maurizio Baccili, with the colors of the flag of Cameroun, has embellished this bottle making it a true work of art.

Maurizio Masi è intervenuto al microfono per spiegare il progetto Am@uZ e la particolare collaborazione tra un esponente di arte contemporanea con una azienda vinicola, per poi procedere con la consegna dell'ambita bottiglia al vincitore della lotteria.

Maurizio Masi spoke at the microphone to explain the project Am@uZ and the special collaboration between an exponent of contemporary art with our winery, and then proceed with the delivery of the bottle to the lottery winner.

Sant'Agata di Reggello - I vini delle Cantine Bellini a sostegno delle missioni in Cameroun

L'azione promozionale delle Cantine Bellini affianca le iniziative del Consorzio Chianti Rufina con sponsorizzazioni a numerosi eventi, anche a carattere di beneficenza, come avviene, ad esempio, per la Magnalonga.
Il 19 settembre i vini del Consorzio Chianti Rufina prenderanno parte alla “Festa a Padre Ugo,  nel chiostro della Chiesa di Sant’Agata a Pietrapiana a Sant’Agata in Arfoli (Reggello, Firenze).

A partire dalle ore 17 verrà proposta una degustazione guidata dei prodotti delle cantine del Consorzio.
In particolare, tra i nostri prodotti, sarà possibile assaggiare il Dominante e il 100% della linea Am@uZ, il Chianti Rufina Cantine Bellini Annata e Riserva e il Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo Annata.
Seguirà quindi una cena con antipasto toscano di salumi e formaggi, primi piatti, porchetta e scelta di dolci casalinghi.

Dopo il saluto di Padre Ugo Presazzi, titolare della Missione Sacramentina, verrà quindi fatta la tradizionale lotteria e quest’anno verranno messe in palio bottiglie Magnum. Le Cantine Bellini sono orgogliose di aver offerto un vero e proprio pezzo unico: una Magnum di Dominante della linea Am@uZ, con etichetta in tela dipinta a mano direttamente dal pittore Maurizio Baccili, con i colori della bandiera del Camerun, il paese verso il quale è rivolta la beneficenza.


The promotion of Cantine Bellini supports the initiatives of the Consortium Chianti Rufina with sponsorships in numerous events, including those with a charity character, as, for example, the Magnalonga.
The 19 of September, the wines of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina will take part at the "Feast of Padre Ugo, in the cloister of the Church of Sant'Agata a Pietrapiana in Sant'Agata in Arfoli (Reggello, Florence).

Starting at 5 p.m.  will be offered a tasting of products of the wine cellars of the Consorzio.
In particular, among our products, you could taste the Dominante and the 100%, the wines of the line Am @ UZ, the Chianti Rufina Riserva and Annata Cantine Bellini and the Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo Annata.

This will be followed a dinner with Tuscan antipasto of meats and cheeses, choice of pasta, pork and choice of homemade desserts.

After the greeting of Padre Ugo Presazzi, owner of the Mission Sacramentina, it will be made the traditional lottery and this year will be offered, as prizes, some Magnum bottles. The Cantine Bellini are proud to have offered a truly unique piece: a Magnum of Dominante, one of the wine of the new line Am@uZ, with the label in canvas painted by hand directly from the artist Maurizio Baccili with the colors of the flag of Cameroon, the country to whom  is directed the charity.

Tutti i proventi della serata, organizzata da Padre Ugo in collaborazione con l’associazione culturale ricreativa Ara Solis di Pietrapiana e l' A.S.D. Pietrapiana Giglio Verde, sotto il patronicio del Comune di Reggello, il Consorzio Chianti Rufina e A.I.S. Firenze, saranno infatti utilizzati per la realizzazione di alloggi e strutture ricreative nel quartiere di Ekoumdoum di Yaoundè, la capitale del Cameroun.

All proceeds from the event, organized by Padre Ugo in collaboration with the cultural association recreational Ara Solis of Pietrapiana and the A.S.D. Pietrapiana Giglio Verde, under the support of  the Municipality of Reggello, the Consorzio Chianti Rufina and A.I.S. Firenze, will be used for the construction of accommodation and leisure facilities in the district of Ekoumdoum in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon.

Am@uZ - Una Magnum per UNHCR

Cantine Bellini e Maurizio Baccili (in arte UZ) hanno voluto donare una bottiglia Magnum di vino Am@uZ Dominante - un pezzo unico da esposizione - allo staff europeo e italiano di UNHCR, rappresentato da Laurens Jolles, delegato UNHCR per il Sud Europa, e Laura Iucci, Corporate Foundations and Major Donors Fund Raiser di UNHCR Roma, in occasione della serata di gala svoltasi a Firenze nella splendida cornice del Grand Hotel Villa Medici, del gruppo SINA, il 23 giugno 2015.

Cantine Bellini and Maurizio Baccili (UZ) wanted to donate a Magnum bottle of the wine Am@UZ Dominant - a unique piece - to the Italian and European staff of UNHCR, represented by Laurens Jolles, UNHCR delegate for Southern Europe, and Laura Iucci, Corporate Foundations and Major Donors Fund Raiser of UNHCR Rome, at the gala evening held in Florence in the beautiful setting of the Grand Hotel Villa Medici, group SINA, June 23, 2015.

Un delizioso mix di sapori italiani e prelibatezze estive è stato preparato dallo staff dell'hotel in collaborazione con lo Chef Andrea Fusco, grande nome della cucina romana.
I commensali sono stati intrattenuti dalle note jazz di Stefano di Battista e Nicky Nicolai che hanno accompagnato lo svolgimento della serata.

A delightful mix of summer flavors and delicacies Italian was prepared by the hotel staff in collaboration with Chef Andrea Fusco, big name of Roman cuisine.
The guests were entertained by the jazz of Stefano di Battista and Nicky Nicolai that accompanied the course of the evening.

Non poteva mancare un contributo di arte visiva: Maurizio Baccili (UZ) con mano sapiente ha impreziosito una bottiglia magnum di vino Am@uZ Dominante, rendendola un pezzo unico da esposizione.

Sia l'etichetta di tela, sia la scatola contenitrice sono state dipinte con motivi dinamici a spirale, molto ricorrenti nella sua produzione.
Mai come stavolta, questi segni, vogliono evocare un'idea dirompente di movimento.
Evoluzioni di colori che chiamano una evoluzione della realtà, soprattutto quella di chi è costretto ad abbandonare tutto e fuggire dalla propria terra.


We could not miss a contribution of visual art: Maurizio Baccili (UZ) with skilful hand has embellished a magnum bottle of wine Am@UZ Dominante, making it an unique exhibition piece, donated at the end of the evening to Simona Grimaudo, ambassador of UNHCR Italy.

Both the label of canvas, both the wood box were painted with motifs dynamic spiral, very recurrent in his work.
Never as this time, these signs want to evoke an idea of disruptive movement.
Evolutions of colors they call an evolution of reality, especially to those who are forced to abandon everything and flee from their land.

Cantine Fratelli Bellini hanno partecipato offrendo ai commensali un assaggio della loro arte e contemporaneamente l'accompagnamento ideale per dei piatti di grande cucina: Am@uZ 100% e Am@uZ Dominante.

Come azienda vinicola, sappiamo di essere custodi dei tesori generosi che la terra ci offre per confezionare buoni vini. Con la nostra azione abbiamo idealmente riportato quei gioiosi frutti della terra a chi dalla terra è stato disconosciuto e tradito. Il connubio prefetto tra vino e arte delle bottiglie di vino Am@uZ rappresenta in questa occasione particolare un inno alla vita (che dovrebbe essere sempre qualcosa di più alto della semplice sopravvivenza).

Cantine Fratelli Bellini has participated giving to the diners a taste of their art, and simultaneously the perfect accompaniment to the dishes of great cuisine: Am@UZ 100% and Am@UZ Dominante.

As a winery, we know we are the custodians of the treasures that the earth offers us generous to pack good wines. With our action we reported ideally those joyful fruits of the earth to those that has been disowned and betrayed by the land. The prefect combination between wine and art of the bottles Am@UZ is on this particular occasion a hymn to life (which should always be something better than the mere survival).
