World Tour 2015. Hong Kong - International Wine&Spirits Fair

Ancora una volta lo spirito pioniere delle Cantine Bellini rivolge la sua attenzione al mercato cinese.
Con il Consorzio Vino Chianti torniamo a partecipare alla Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair, la più importante manifestazione del settore vino sul mercato asiatico, per il secondo anno consecutivo.

Once again, the spirit of pioneer of the Cantine Bellini turns his attention to the Chinese market.
With the Consorzio Vino Chianti we go back to participate in the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair, the most important event of the wine industry in the Asian market, for the second consecutive year.

L’evento, organizzato dall’Hong Kong Trade Development Council-HKTDC e giunto all’ottava edizione, si svolgerà ad Hong Kong dal 5 al 7 novembre 2015, presso l’Hong Kong Convention Exhibition Centre – Wan Chai e sarà aperto anche al pubblico nella sola giornata del 7 novembre 2015.

Due i seminari in programma: uno il 5 e l’altro il 6 novembre, rispettivamente alle ore 12 e alle 13.45. Per entrambi, il relatore sarà JC Viens. Confidiamo che Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. "Podere Il Pozzo" sia presentato nuovamente come etichetta di riferimento per esercitare gli esperti asiatici a riconsocere i tratti distintivi del vino toscano.


The event, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council-HKTDC, now in its eighth edition, will take place in Hong Kong from 5 to 7 November 2015, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre - Wan Chai and will also be open to all the public only November 7, 2015.

Two seminars are scheduled: one 5 and the other on November 6, respectively, at 12 am and at 13.45. For both, the speaker will be JC Viens. We trust that Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. "Podere Il Pozzo" will be presented again as a reference label for experts Asians to recognize the distinctive features of the Tuscan wine.

Questa edizione registra una rinforzata presenza delle aziende del Consorzio Chianti. L'impatto sul pubblico della fiera dovrebbe essere più incisivo e assicurare un sostanzioso incremento di visite anche se, inevitabilmente, aumenterà anche la concorrenza interna tra i banchi di degustazione. 

La nostra postazione è posizionata alla Hall 3F Stand E19. L'area espositiva è stata riprogettata in modo da offrire a tutte le aziende uno spazio funzionale garantendo il passaggio dei visitatori. E' stata ingrandita la Meeting Area in modo da offrire un appoggio ad eventuali colloqui di lavoro e allestito un banco consortile di assaggio per i vini delle aziende non presenti all’evento.


This edition records a reinforced presence of the companies of the Consorzio Chianti. The impact to the public of the fair should be more effective and ensure a substantial increase in visits even though, inevitably, will increment internal competition among the stands of tasting.

Our location is located at Stand E19 Hall 3F. The exhibition area has been redesigned to offer to all companies a functional space ensuring the passage of visitors. It was magnified the Meeting Area to offer support to any job interviews and set up a stand of the Consorzio to taste the wines of the companies that not attend the event.

L'offerta delle nostre etichette è divenuta quanto più varia possibile: dal sapore eclettico della linea Am@uZ a quello genuino dei vini Bellini, completando con l'eleganza dei vini Podere il Pozzo. Impossibile non fare almeno una sosta al nostro stand!

World Tour 2014. Vinitaly Hong Kong 2014

A distanza di qualche mese, riprende il nostro viaggio promozionale all'interno del Consorzio Chianti per partecipare a un evento in Cina. L'International Wine & Spirits Fair di Hong Kong 2014, organizzato dalla Hong Kong Trade Development Council (H.K.T.D.C.) in collaborazione con Vinitaly International, arricchisce la nostra esperienza nell'esplorazione del tanto agognato mercato asiatico.

A few months later and resumed our  promotion journey within the Consorzio Chianti to attend an event in China. The International Wine & Spirits Fair Hong Kong 2014, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (H.K.T.D.C.) in collaboration with Vinitaly International, enriches our experience in the exploration of the coveted market of Asia.

Purtroppo l'evento è stato disturbato da una manifestazione di piazza che si è svolta a poca distanza dal Convention and Exhibition Center. L'imponente dispiegamento di forze di polizia ha sicuramente scoraggiato la partecipazione di importatori e semplici curiosi. Anche se l'afflusso di visitatori è stato in parte ridotto, come cantina vinicola siamo molto soddisfatti di aver partecipato: da ogni ospite che abbiamo accolto abbiamo avuto un riscontro positivo sulla bontà del prodotto. Coltivando l'interesse e la curiosità del buon bere, permetterà col tempo di farci conoscere meglio da tutto il popolo cinese.

Unfortunately, the event was disturbed by a demonstration that took place not far from the Convention and Exhibition Center. The massive deployment of police forces has certainly discouraged the participation of importers and visitors. Although the influx of visitors was partially reduced, as winery we are very pleased to have participated: from every guest that we have received we have had feedback on the quality of the product. By cultivating the interest and curiosity of good wine, will eventually make us better known to all Chinese people.

Avevamo già iniziato a descrivere un profilo dei consumatori cinesi che hanno visitato lo stand nella precedente tappa Interwine 2014 Spring Session a Canton a cui idealmente ci riagganciamo.

We had already begun to describe a profile of Chinese consumers who visited our booth in the previous stage Interwine 2014 Spring Session in Guangzhou that ideally we hang up.

Possiamo confermare che durante gli assaggi si sono rivelati numerosi equivoci sulle denominazioni di origine del vino e la vasta differenziazione dei prodotti proposti dal consorzio Chianti. Queste lacune culturali hanno reso particolarmente intense le singole degustazioni, diventando quasi piccoli seminari per spiegare le differenze tra le varie aree del Chianti e gli elementi che permettono una distinzione qualitativa e di costo tra le bottiglie.

We can confirm that during the tasting several misunderstandings were turned out about the denominations of origin of the wine and the wide differentiation of the products offered by the consortium Chianti. These cultural gaps have made particularly intense the individual tastings, becoming almost small seminars to explain the differences between the various areas of the Chianti and the elements that allow a distinction between quality and cost of the bottles.

Sicuramente il fiasco nella sua forma inconfondibile è l'unico elemento universalmente riconosciuto. Purtroppo però l'iconografia della nostra bottiglia più tradizionale si associa, nell'immaginario cinese, ad un prodotto dozzinale, da utilizzare solo in mostra ma non da bere. Anche per sfatare queste false credenze, è stato necessario sottolineare con assaggi mirati che la qualità del vino non è assolutamente scadente, anzi adeguata ad un consumo intenso da abbinarsi alla cucina casalinga.

Surely the flask in its unmistakable shape is the only universally recognized. Unfortunately, the iconography of our flask in the more traditional Chinese imagery is associated with a product necessarily cheap, to be used only on display but not for drink. Also to debunk these false beliefs, was been necessary to point out with our tasting that  the quality of the wine is not at all bad, but appropriate for intense use matched to the daily cooking.

In particolare hanno fatto furore il Chianti Riserva D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, il Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini e il Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. Podere il Pozzo che rappresentavano la gamma di vini più strutturati. Un gusto morbido e d'impatto permette in genere di percepire meno l'acidità e la tannicità del vino, a cui evidentemente anche a Hong Hong non sono abituati.

In particular, have had big success the Chianti Riserva D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini, the Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. Cantine Bellini and the Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. Podere il Pozzo, representing the range of more structured wines. A smooth taste and with impact can generally make perceive less the acidity and the tannins of the wine, which apparently also in Hong Hong are not loved.

Tra tutte le riserve del consorzio Chianti, presenti in fiera, solo le migliori bottiglie sono state scelte per una degustazioni guidata, tenuta da JC Viens, il pomeriggio del 6 novembre. Siamo fieri di essere stati presenti a questo prestigiosa presentazione dove il Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. "Podere Il Pozzo" 2011 ha ottenuto ottimi commenti.

Of all the reserves of the Consortium Chianti presented at the fair, only the best bottles were chosen during a guided tasting, held by JC Viens on the afternoon of November 6th. We are proud to have been present at this prestigious presentation where Chianti Rufina Riserva D.O.C.G. "Podere Il Pozzo" 2011 has got excellent remarks.

Da segnalare anche la degustazione guidata dei Vin Santo del consorzio, "Vin Santo del Chianti - Tuscany's liquid Gold", condotta da Ian D'Agata, per far conoscere anche il prodotto per eccellenza per il dessert della nostra terra, descrivendo il mondo del vino attraverso un mix tra cultura e amore per un elemento che conosce in ogni aspetto.

Of note is the tasting of the Vin Santo of the Consortium, "Vin Santo del Chianti - Tuscany's Liquid Gold", conducted by Ian D'Agata, to make known the best product for the dessert of our land, describing the world of wine through a mix of culture and love for an item he knows in every aspect.

Per cercare di aprire un canale di interscambio culturale efficacie, in un prossimo futuro, sarà sempre più strategica la partecipazione a conferenze e degustazioni guidate come quella descritta, in modo da contagiare la tradizione gastronomica cinese ed apparire come una etichetta "di fiducia".

To try to open a channel of cultural exchange effective in the near future it will become more strategic participation in conferences and tastings like the one described, in order to infect the culinary traditions of China and look like a label "trusted".

Dal 6 all'8 novembre si terrà l'International Wine & Spirits Fair di Hong Kong 2014, organizzato dalla Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in collaborazione con Vinitaly International presso l’Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

L’Hong Kong Trade Development Council, organo statutario istituito nel 1966, è il mezzo principale di marketing internazionale per i commercianti, i produttori e i fornitori di servizi con sede a Hong Kong. Con più di 40 uffici globali, tra cui 13 sul continente cinese, l'HKTDC promuove Hong Kong come piattaforma per collaborare con la Cina e l'Asia.


From 6 to 8 November the International Wine & Spirits Fair Hong Kong 2014 will be held , organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in collaboration with Vinitaly International at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a statutory body established in 1966, is the primary means of international marketing for retailers, manufacturers and service providers based in Hong Kong. With more than 40 global offices, including 13 on the Chinese mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a platform to work with China and Asia.

Tra gli eventi della HKTDC, l'International Wine & Spirits Fair è sicuramente la principale delle fiere dedicate al vino e agli alcoolici. Negli ultimi cinque anni è notevolmente aumentato il mercato del settore tanto che Hong Kong è considerata la più importante zona di commercio e distribuzione di tutta l'Asia. Se già dal 2010 ci eravamo interessati a questa importante manifestazione, quest'anno abbiamo l'occasione di partecipare di persona e di conoscere questa nuova realtà. Le Cantine Bellini saranno presenti all’interno dello stand del Consorzio Chianti (hall 3F-E02) nel padiglione Italia.

Between the events of the HKTDC, the International Wine & Spirits Fair is definitely the leading trade fair devoted to wines and spirits. Over the past five years has greatly increased the market sector so that Hong Kong is considered the most important area of trade and distribution across Asia. If early as 2010 we were involved in this important event, this year we have the opportunity to attend in person and get to know this new reality. Cantine Bellini will be present on the stand of the Consorzio Chianti (Hall 3F-E02) in the Italian pavilion.

Vi partecipano più di 1.000 espositori provenienti da tutto il mondo, sia da territori vicini che oltre 34 diversi paesi (Bielorussia e Macedonia parteciperanno per la prima volta) e saranno presenti importatori, esportatori, grossisti, distributori all'ingrosso, enti di promozione, associazioni e Istituzioni.
Per tre giorni (i primi due dedicati esclusivamente agli operatori e l'ultimo aperto anche al pubblico), i riflettori dell'enogastronomia internazionale  saranno puntati sulla Cina.

Involves more than 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world, both from neighboring territories that over 34 different countries (Belarus and Macedonia will participate for the first time) and will be featured importers, exporters, wholesalers, distributors, wholesale, promotion agencies, associations and institutions.
For three days (the first two dedicated to the players and the last open to the public), the eno international spotlight will be focused on China.

Durante la fiera sono stati organizzate numerose conferenze e seminari tenuti da importanti sommelier di livello internazionale e dedicati ad operatori del settore. Vi segnaliamo in particolare “Il Chianti Riserva”, tenuto da JC Viens il pomeriggio del 6 novembre.
