Davanti a una schiera così nutrita di esperti è diventato però sempre più comune trovare pareri ridondanti concentrati su produttori famosi, zone di produzione blasonate, bottiglie popolari, annate eccellenti.
Davanti al panorama enologico mondiale è difficile farsi notare per una piccola azienda votata a confezionare vini di qualità pur senza produrre una copiosa quantità di bottiglie.
Tuttavia, quando osservatori professionisti del settore hanno l'occasione di saggiare i prodotti della nostra piccola azienda nel Chianti Rufina, rimangono folgorati dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

JamesSuckling.com è nato nell'ottobre 2010 con la volontà di proporsi come sito fondato non sulle classiche note di degustazione ma anche su contenuti video con "figure chiave del vino in tutto il mondo", in quanto, come dichiarato sul sito stesso “ il bevitore di vino di oggi merita di più delle semplici recensioni e critiche solo scritte. Ha bisogno di vedere con i propri occhi il posto, la gente, e il processo di lavorazione”.
Oltre alle recensioni di Suckling, il sito dispone anche delle recensioni di Jessica Harnois, presidente dell'Associazione canadese dei sommelier professionisti.
James Suckling è un critico sia di vino e che di sigari e l'ex Senior Editor della nota rivista americana ed europea Wine Spectator, nonché Editor europeo di Cigar Aficionado. Suckling è considerato a livello internazionale come uno dei critici del vino più influenti del mondo e uno dei critici più esperti di sigari d'epoca.
La scala di valutazione è la classica da 100 punti. Suckling afferma che “un vino che valuto 90 punti o più è eccezionale. E 'un vino del quale voglio bere un bicchiere ed è un acquisto eccezionale. Se valuto un vino di 95 punti o più, è un must buy e una bottiglia che voglio bere nella sua interezza!
