VI Biennale Enogastronomica a Firenze

La Fortezza da Basso di Firenze protegge i tesori della Biennale enogastronomica 2018.
Esposizione raccolta e ben organizzata, ad ingresso libero, orientata principalmente alla degustazione di prodotti gastronomici che solitamente si combinano e abbinano  a birra e vino.

The Fortezza da Basso in Florence protects the treasures of the 2018 enogastronomic biennial.
Collected and well organized exhibition, with free admission, mainly oriented to the tasting of gastronomic products that usually match together and combine with beer and wine.

La rassegna di aziende vinicole, distillerie e birrifici (dove poter riempire il proprio calice di degustazione) si intervalla sapientemente con assaggi di tartufi, cioccolato, formaggi, biscotti ed altre eccellenze toscane; più che una mostra mercato si poteva definire una vera e propria passerella di sapori.

The review of wineries, distilleries and breweries (where you can fill your tasting glass) is expertly interweaved with samples of truffles, chocolate, cheeses, biscuits and other Tuscan excellences; more than a market exhibition could be defined as a real catwalk of flavors.

Non stupisce che molte famiglie e giovani abbiano voluto partecipare agli interessanti workshop della manifestazione, come quello per cucinare una perfetta pizza curato dai maestri pizzaioli dei più rinomati ristoranti fiorentini che hanno mostrato la loro maestria direttamente davanti un forno a legna.

No wonder that many families and young people have wanted to participate in the interesting workshops of the event, such as cooking a perfect pizza made by the master pizza makers of the most famous Florentine restaurants who have shown their mastery directly in front of a wood oven.

Brindiamo al Calcio Storico!

Tre etichette speciali di vino Chianti Valvirginio con gli stemmi dei Bianchi, Verdi e Rossi sono l'omaggio di quest'anno all'edizione di quest'anno del Calcio storico Fiorentino. Le bottiglie di vino, Chianti del 2016, saranno inoltre sulle tavole delle cene dei tre colori.

Three special wine labels of Chianti Valvirginio with the coats of arms of the Bianchi, Verdi and Rossi are the homage to this year's edition of the historic Calcio Fiorentino. The bottles of wine, Chianti 2016, will also be on the tables of the dinners of the three colors.

Il 18 maggio in piazza Duomo alla cena dei Verdi, il 22 maggio in piazza Santa Maria Novella a quella dei Rossi e il 25 maggio in piazza Santo Spirito all'iniziativa dei Bianchi. La tradizione vitivinicola si fonde con la tradizione popolare fiorentina, due mondi accomunati dal forte attaccamento alla storia e alle proprie radici.

Degustazione Chianti Rufina a Firenze

Il Consorzio Chianti Rufina in collaborazione con AIS - Delegazione di Firenze ha organizzato per venerdì 6 Aprile una degustazione di 12 Riserva presso il Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, a Firenze, dedicata a tutti i professionisti del settore.
Sotto la guida del Sommelier A.I.S. Massimo Castellani siamo partiti da un Chianti Rufina Riserva del 2014 per terminare con le annate 1997 e 1995.
Le Cantine Bellini hanno partecipato con il Chianti Rufina Riserva Podere il Pozzo 2013.

The Chianti Rufina Consortium in collaboration with AIS - Delegation of Florence has organized a tasting of 12 Riserva for Friday, April 6, at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, in Florence, dedicated to all professionals in the sector.
Under the guidance of the Sommelier A.I.S. Massimo Castellani we started from a Chianti Rufina Riserva of 2014 to end with the years 1997 and 1995.
Cantine Bellini has participated with the Chianti Rufina Riserva Podere il Pozzo 2013.

World Tour 2018 - Dusseldorf - ProWein 2018

Continua il nostro tour promozionale con il tradizionale appuntamento con Prowein: il Consorzio Vino Chianti torna in Germania, a Düsseldorf, per la più importante fiera tedesca dedicata al settore vinicolo in programma dal 18 al 20 marzo.

Continue our promotional tour with the traditional appointment with Prowein: the Chianti Wine Consortium returns to Germany, in Düsseldorf, for the most important German trade fair dedicated to the wine sector scheduled for March 18-20.

Con 34 aziende toscane associate e 150 etichette assortite di Chianti, Superiore, Riserva e Vin Santo del Chianti, il Consorzio rafforza la sua presenza all’interno di un evento prestigioso e atteso.
Prowein International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits è infatti un appuntamento tra i più importanti a livello mondiale, aperto solo ad un pubblico specializzato, che attira migliaia di addetti ai lavori da ogni parte del mondo: nella scorsa edizione erano 6.600 gli espositori, espressione dei 300 territori di produzione di 60 paesi, e 58.500 i visitatori specializzati provenienti soprattutto, oltre che dalla Germania, da America, Asia, Est Europa, Francia, Scandinavia, UK.

With 34 associated Tuscan companies and 150 assorted labels of Chianti, Superiore, Riserva and Vin Santo del Chianti, the Consortium strengthens its presence within a prestigious and anticipated event.
Prowein International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits is indeed one of the most important worldwide meetings, open only to a specialized public, which attracts thousands of professionals from all over the world: in the last edition there were 6,600 exhibitors, an expression of 300 production territories in 60 countries, and 58,500 specialized visitors coming mainly from Germany, America, Asia, Eastern Europe, France, Scandinavia, UK.

World tour 2017 - Prowein China 2017

Anche quest'anno abbiamo partecipato, insieme al Consorzio del Chianti, al tour in Asia che si è svolto a fine novembre per partecipare ad alcuni degli appuntamenti più importanti del settore enogastronomico in programma.

Also this year we participated, together with the Consorzio del Chianti, to the tour in Asia that took place at the end of November to take part in some of the most important events in the enogastronomic sector.

Dal 14 al 16 Novembre il Consorzio è stato presente alla Fiera di settore agroalimentare all’interno del padiglione dedicato al vino internazionale curato dalla Prowein Dusseldorf con uno stand istituzionale con la presenza diretta di 31 banchi aziendali di produttori associati di Chianti, con la possibilità anche di assaggiare i vini tra 50 diverse etichette.

From 14 to 16 November, the Consortium was present at the Fair of the food industry within the pavilion dedicated to international wine curated by Prowein Dusseldorf with an institutional stand with the direct presence of 31 company of associated producers of Chianti, with the possibility also to taste the wines among 50 different labels.

Si tratta della seconda presenza ufficiale del Consorzio in questa fiera, scelta sia per il profilo professionale, che garantisce normalmente Prowein, che per un orientamento sempre più diffuso al mercato intero della Cina, dunque anche con localizzazione geografica centro-nord.

This is the second official presence of the Consortium in this fair, chosen both for the professional profile, which normally guarantees Prowein, and for a more and more widespread orientation to the whole market of China, therefore also with central-north geographical location.

Dopo Shanghai, il 18 e 20 Novembre, ci siamo spostati a Qingdao e a Beijing, per la prima volta a livello ufficiale consortile, per tenere due workshop professionali sulla Denominazione.
Le 17 aziende associate, tra cui le Cantine Bellini, hanno presentato i loro vini Chianti D.O.P. e I.G.P. ad un pubblico selezionato: sommelier, ristoratori, importatori e distributori del prodotto vino hanno  potuto assistere agli incontri.

After Shanghai, November 18 and 20, we moved to Qingdao and Beijing, for the first time as a consortium, to hold two professional workshops on the Denomination.
The 17 member companies, including the Bellini Cellars, presented their Chianti DOP and IGP wines to a selected public: sommeliers, restaurateurs, importers and distributors of the wine product has attended the meetings.

Si. È  vero. La pagina del blog quest' anno ha subito un significativo rallentamento. Ma vogliamo rassicurare i nostri sostenitori che non abbiamo abbandonato il nostro impegno.
Stiamo lavorando da diversi mesi proprio alla revisione e al potenziamento della nostra attività sul web e già dopo la vendemmia 2017, cominceremo ad introdurre alcune novità.

La nostra sperimentazione nella scrittura del blog è stata una preziosa esperienza che ci ha permesso, negli ultimi anni, di tenere traccia della nostra attività  di Cantina e creare una complicità con i consumatori dei nostri vini.
È arrivato il momento di dimostrare la maturità del nostro lavoro con una evoluzione della nostra comunicazione.
Uno "stil novo" per raccontare l'immutabile passione della famiglia Bellini nel fare vini d'eccellenza.

Yes, it's true. The blog page this year has suffered a significant slowdown. But we want to reassure our supporters that we have not abandoned our commitment.
We have been working on the revision and upgrading of our web site for several months, and after the 2017 harvest, we will start introducing some new stuff.

Our experimentation in blogging has been a valuable experience that has enabled us, in recent years, to keep track of our Cantina activity and to create a complicity with the consumers of our wines.
It is time to prove the maturity of our work with an evolution of our communication.

Focus del Progetto WineArt - Dove siamo?

Il presidio allo stand del Vinitaly 2017 è stato anche una occasione per fissare le tappe e i traguardi raggiunti sin'ora dal progetto WineArt per poi definire la sua reale potenzialità di crescita nel futuro.

The attendance at the Vinitaly 2017 was also an opportunity to set the stage and the goals reached by the WineArt project and then define its real potential for growth in the future.

La sperimentazione è iniziata nel 2015, sotto il nome Am@Uz, con un numero limitato di bottiglie presentate ad un pubblico selezionato ed esperto, in cerca di novità da sperimentare o alla ricerca di un abbinamento originale ma raffinato. Ricordiamo che il nostro vino è stato uno dei protagonisti dell'edizione Chef's Cup 2015 promossa dalla catena Sina Hotels. Durante questa fase ricognitiva abbiamo potuto osservare sempre reazioni positive ed incoraggianti.

Experimentation began in 2015, under the name Am@Uz, with a limited number of bottles presented to a selected and experienced audience, looking for novelties to be experienced or looking for an original but refined combination. We remember that our wine was one of the protagonists of the Chef's Cup 2015 edition promoted by the Sina Hotels chain. During this first phase we have always been able to observe positive and encouraging reactions.

Quindi, spinto dall'entusiasmo iniziale, il progetto si è velocemente evoluto, trasformandosi nella neonata linea di vini Mamb-O Bellini orientati a un target più giovane rispetto all'offerta classica di vini della Cantina. I primi 4 vini prodotti (Mamb-O rosso, Mamb-O bianco, Dominante e 100%) hanno dovuto passare una fase di studio per poter essere confezionati nei minimi dettagli e poter essere offerti, a tutti gli effetti, come articolo novità della casa vinicola.

So, pushed by the initial enthusiasm, the project quickly evolved, transforming itself into the newborn Mamb-O Bellini wine line aimed at a younger audience than that of the classic Cantina's wine. The first 4 wines produced (Mamb-O red, Mamb-O white, Dominante and 100%) have had to pass a study phase so to be packed to the best in small details and to be offered, in all respects, as a new product of the winery.

In questa fase introduttiva, che corrisponde al lancio del prodotto, la richiesta sul mercato ha subito una lieve crescita, sostenuta e incoraggiata dalle Cantine Bellini attraverso una promozione continua sui canali commerciali.

In this introductory phase, which corresponds to the launch of the product, the demand on the market has undergone slight growth, sustained and encouraged by the Bellini Cellars through a continuous promotion of commercial channels.

Contemporaneamente, abbiamo lavorato per ampliare l'offerta della linea Mamb-O introducendo anche una intrigante bottiglia di prosecco.

At the same time, we have worked to expand the range of Mamb-O line by introducing an intriguing bottle of prosecco.

Dall'aperitivo alla cena abbiamo portato i nostri vini "...a giro per la Toscana" organizzando una serie di cene evento a titolo "Dove il vino incontra l'arte".

From the aperitif to the dinner we brought our wines "... around the Tuscany" by organizing a series of event dinners entitled "Where wine meets Art".

In queste serate (Spirali di gusto sulla spiaggia di Lido di Camaiore, Ode all'autunno sulle colline di Rufina, Un rifugio per ghiotti virtuosi nel centro di Firenze, Alla conquista del Castello del Palagio) il progetto WineArt è stato presentato in tutte le sue sfaccettature: Andrea Masi ha guidato la degustazione dei vini e parlato dell'accostamento gastronomico; Maurizio Baccili ha contribuito ad amplificare le suggestioni del momento attraverso la descrizione e la realizzazione dal vivo delle sue opere.

In these events (Spirals of taste on the beach of Lido di Camaiore, Ode at Autumn in the hills of Rufina, A haven for virtuous greedys in the center of Florence, To the conquest of the Castle of the Palagio) the WineArt project was presented in all its facets: Andrea Masi guided the wine tasting and talked about the gastronomic accompaniment; Maurizio Baccili has contributed to amplifying the suggestions of the moment through the description and realization of his works.

All'inizio del 2016 al prodotto viene affiancata una nuova brillante idea: una confezione speciale dedicata alla nuova linea costituita da una scatola di legno dipinta a mano che, oltre ad impreziosire e proteggere la bottiglia di vino, diventa un vero e proprio quadro da incorniciare.

At the beginning of 2016 a new brilliant idea is alongside the product: a special packaging dedicated to the new line consisting of a hand-painted wooden box that, besides embellishing and protecting the wine bottle, becomes a real frame to be framed.

I primi esemplari di questa idea regalo sono andati letteralmente a ruba nella scorsa edizione del Vinitay. Abbiamo tentato un massiccio lancio promozionale in america in occasione del nostro tour in Florida che, per problemi burocratici e incomprensioni organizzative, non ha potuto esprimere suo pieno potenziale.

The first examples of this gift idea have literally been stolen in the last edition of Vinitay. We tried a massive promotional launch in america during our Florida tour that, due to bureaucratic problems and organizational misunderstanding, was unable to express its full potential.

Tentando di rilanciare l'idea decorativa delle scatole di legno decorate, ci siamo domandati: perché non rendere l'etichetta stessa un pezzo unico da collezione? Ampliando il concetto artistico della scatola, abbiamo prodotto un oggetto da collezione in formato più piccolo, adatto ad impreziosire una cornice di formato fotografico.

Trying to relaunch the idea of the decorated wooden boxes, we wondered why don't make the same with the label itself, as a unique piece of collection? By expanding the artistic concept of the box, we have produced a smaller collection object, suitable for embedding a photo frame.

Quale occasione migliore di una cena per mostrare in anteprima le nostre nuove etichette artistiche?
Con questa ultima tappa abbiamo accompagnato il progetto fino al 2017 dove ci aspetta il compito più delicato: portare a piena maturare le potenziali opportunità di mercato e coglierne i frutti.

Vinitaly 2017 - Wine-Art BOOM

Il Vinitaly è una occasione unica per capire tutte le ultime tendenze della vinicoltura italiana, con un occhio sempre puntato sulla concorrenza. Contemporaneamente, è un prezioso banco di prova per tentare di identificare la posizione dei nostri prodotti sul mercato italiano ed estero.

Vinitaly is a unique opportunity to understand all the latest trends in Italian wine-growing, with an eye always focused on competition. At the same time, it is a precious test to try to identify the position of our products on the Italian and foreign markets.

La nostra 51esima edizione è stata improntata principalmente sulle proposte sviluppate per il progetto WineArt; utilizzando lo stand come palcoscenico, abbiamo avuto l'occasione di ripercorrere tutte le tappe del nostro lavoro, presentando anche delle interessanti novità ai nostri clienti abituali e agli osservatori commerciali che frequentano la fiera.

Our 51st edition was mainly based on the proposals developed for the WineArt project; using the stand as a stage, we have had the opportunity to retrace all the stages of our work, presenting interesting news to our regular customers and to the trade observers who attend the fair.

Potremmo dire di aver assistito, con questo evento, ad un vero e proprio WineArt Boom!
La contaminazione tra Vino e Arte si conferma una formula vincente per incantare il "nuovo" pubblico che ricerca nel "bere" anche una sorta di contemplazione estatica.

Contamination between Wine and Art confirms a winning formula for enchanting the "new" audience who are looking for "a drink" as well as a kind of ecstatic contemplation.

Il padiglione Toscana, austero, esibisce una serie di stand dal gusto classico, senza mai uscire troppo dagli schemi. Per i curiosi che passeggiavano distrattamente nei dintorni dell'area Chianti e Chianti Classico siamo stati una delle poche proposte che ha meritavano di essere studiate.

The austere Tuscan pavilion exhibits a series of classic-style stands, without ever going too far out of the schemes. For those curious who wandered distracted around the Chianti and Chianti Classico area, we were one of the few proposals that deserved to be studied.

Una volta attratti dai colori della vetrina, i visitatori hanno amplificato le loro emozioni durante le degustazioni dei vini: guidando gli assaggi abbiamo introdotto un divertente gioco di suggestioni per cercare di "vedere", nell'etichetta, le eleganti note aromatiche del vino e cercare di "sentire", nella speziata tannicità del vino, l'energia colorata dell'etichetta.

Once attracted by the colors of the showcase, visitors have amplified their emotions during wine tastings: by guiding the tastes we introduced a fun game of suggestions to try to "see" on every label the elegant aromatic notes of the wine and look for to "feel" in the spicy tannicity of wine, the colored energy of the label.

La nostra anima sperimentale ha contribuito a spingere commercialmente anche l'interesse per i nostri vini più prestigiosi. La qualità dei vini proposti rimane un nostro baluardo imprescindibile. E' molto importante che, a seguito di un gioco di immagine, il consumatore possa riconoscere la nostra abilità di Cantina, che da 5 generazioni si impegna a confezionare vini d'eccellenza (come confermato dalle recenti menzioni a livello internazionale).

Our experimental soul has also contributed to commercially pushing the interest for our most prestigious wines. The quality of the wines offered remains an indispensable bastion. It is very important that, following a game of image, the consumer can recognize our Cantina's skill, which for five generations is committed to producing excellent wines (as confirmed by the recent international mention).

Da buoni fiorentini, abbiamo dedicato un piccolo spazio dello stand alla disavventura dello scorso anno, quando siamo stati depredati di vari elementi espositivi e bottiglie di vino (Vinitaly con delitto). Quest'anno, per evitare altre spiacevoli sorprese, abbiamo dovuto spogliare completamente lo stand dei suoi contenuti ... tutte le sere!

From "good" Florentines, we devoted a small stand space to last year's mishap, when we were robbed of various display elements and wine bottles (Vinitaly with crime). This year, to avoid other unpleasant surprises, we have completely undress the stand of its contents ... every night!

World Tour 2017 - Düsseldorf - XXIII ProWein

Centro nevralgico dei contatti internazionali ed europei, Prowein International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits si conferma come uno degli eventi più importanti e attesi del settore a livello mondiale: la scorsa edizione ha visto la partecipazione di 6.000 espositori in rappresentanza di 60 paesi e oltre 50 mila visitatori.

The nerve center of international and European contacts, the ProWein International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits is confirmed as one of the most important and expected events of the global industry: the last edition saw the participation of 6,000 exhibitors from 60 countries and over 50 thousand visitors.

Qui gli espositori delle più importanti zone di produzione incontrano un pubblico selezionato di visitatori specialisti e professionisti del vino. Accanto allo scambio e al trasferimento di conoscenze, ProWein offre una piattaforma per concludere affari e acquisire nuovi clienti.

Here exhibitors of the most important production areas meet a select audience of visitors specialists and wine professionals. In addition to the exchange and transfer of knowledge, ProWein offers a platform to do business and gain new customers.

La perfetta organizzazione della fiera è il suo principale punto di forza: attira un pubblico internazionale grazie alla posizione centrale, riaccende l'attenzione del mercato tedesco verso il consumo di vino, sprona le aziende consolidate a competere con le piccole realtà di nicchia operanti su mercati emergenti.

The perfect organization of the fair is its main strength: attracting an international audience thanks to its central location, switch on again the German market attention to the consumption of wine, goading the biggest wineries to compete with small niche wineries operating on emerging market.

La partecipazione delle cantine che rappresentano il Chianti permette di ideare delle strategie comuni con l'obiettivo di delineare il profilo inconfondibile e unico del vino toscano davanti agli esperti di tutto il mondo.
L'obiettivo del gruppo è quello di rafforzare la nostra Denominazione e incrementare la presenza delle nostre produzioni, soprattutto su un mercato come quello tedesco, che è il più importante all'interno dei confini dell’Unione Europea, con circa il 30% del Chianti esportato.

Rispetto agli anni precedenti abbiamo registrato un decremento della presenza asiatica, tuttavia è d'obbligo ricordare che un'intera edizione della manifestazione viene svolta anche a Shanghai i primi di novembre. Marcata invece la presenza di operatori americani e nord-europei.


The participation of the wineries that represent the Chianti's Consortium allows you to devise common strategies with the objective of outlining the unique profile of the Tuscan wine in front of experts from around the world.
The group's goal is to strengthen our name and increase the presence of our productions, especially on a market such as Germany, which is the most important within the European Union's borders, with about 30% of the Chianti exported.

Compared to previous years we have seen a decrease in the Asian presence; however, we must remember that an entire edition of the event is also held in Shanghai in early November. Marked instead the presence of US operators and northern Europeans.
