World Tour 2014. Italia - Verona - 48° Vinitaly

EXPORT EXPORT EXPORT.

EXPORT EXPORT EXPORT. This is the main theme of Vinitaly of this year! Everybody are fixed on distant horizons and new markets.
WINE KNOWS NO CRISIS: SINCE 2008 THE EXPORT IS INCREASED BY 37%

An important innovation was the introduction of the pavilion Vinitalybio, realized with the collaboration of FederBio: a specialized space reserved for certified organic wines, to meet the demands of an ever wider market section that is being developed in particular in the countries of North Europe, North America, but also in the Orient. A note in favor of an approach to the adoption of regulation UE n. 203/2012 has also been expressed by wineries of Chianti Rufina, as confirmed during the interview at the fair to the president of the Consortium.

Operators are geared towards the internationalization of their offer, each in search of the opportunity to fill the glasses of the entire globe: the biggest wineries trying to conquer the large-scale distribution and the small ones looking to offer a quality excellent product ..to be bought in wine bars and specialized websites.

History teaches us that to conquer foreign lands is needed a  strategy and a careful study of reality with which you want to get in touch.
STUDY OF THE MARKET, GREATER FLEXIBILITY TO WORK ON DIFFERENT TIME ZONES, GREATER KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES: IT'S WHAT IMPORTERS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THE WORLD ARE ASKING TO ITALIAN WINE PRODUCERS.
The real effectiveness of a massive commitment in foreign markets is not at all obvious, and indeed is the real challenge for the future of many wineries.

Another aspect that emerged with force during the days of the fair is the need to understand how each country has their own idea of wine consumption in close relation to its gastronomic traditions and social categories who consume it regularly.

In a "new" market such as China or Russia is also important to export the culture of wine: educate people that want to experience the Mediterranean kitchen, but do not yet know thoroughly the way we thinking to enjoy a glass of red wine, at the taste of the good wine.

A large part of the fair has been dedicated to the meeting with numerous agents that operate in various markets around the world, for the definition of the future business strategies.

At the same time, even in our domestic market, is renewed the need to interpret the consumption of wine through the eyes of the younger generation. The slight recovery in consumption appears to have a consolidated outlet in the area of origin that guarantees the visibility of the winery's image needed to conquer also the international markets.

Our trip around the world will help us to refine even more our language to describe and interpret the wine in its complexity, without forgetting to live lightly: "FEEL IT STRANGE..."
