La nostra esperienza presso le sedi Total Wine & More del New Jersey è stata molto positiva: abbiamo avuto il piacere di descrivere e proporre i nostri vini a numerosi appassionati.

Our experience at New Jersey's Total Wine & More locations was very positive: we had the pleasure of describing and proposing our wines to numerous wine-enthusiasts.

Presso la sede di Springfield, per celebrare il San Patrick day del 17 marzo, era presente una promozione della quale hanno usufruito molti dei nostri ospiti, che hanno deciso di acquistare una selezione dei nostri prodotti dopo averli degustati insieme a Maurizio.

At Springfield mall, to celebrate the San Patrick day on March 17th, there was a promotion which many of our guests enjoyed, deciding to buy a selection of our products after having tasted them with Maurizio.

Ottima accoglienza e flusso di visitatori anche domenica presso la sede di Westbury, sempre nello stato di New York.

Excellent employees and numerous visitors flowed also on Sunday at the Westbury mall, in the state of New York.

L'impegno  allo stand di degustazione e il freddo pungente di fine  febbraio (-12° C!) non ci hanno tolto comunque il piacere di una passeggiata romantica in una Manhattan innevata. Anche in condizioni climatiche proibitive, questa città davvero non si ferma mai ... e anche noi non potevamo essere da meno!

The commitment to the tasting stand and the bitter cold at the end of February (-12 ° C!) didn't take away the pleasure of a romantic walk in a snow-covered Manhattan. Even in prohibitive climatic conditions, this city really never stops ... and we too have had not be outdone!

Abbiamo infine concluso il nostro viaggio con l'evento "Great Wines of Italy - The grand Tasting": organizzato all'interno lo IAC New York - International Academy of Consciousness, ha attratto un numerosissimo pubblico di amanti del buon bere.

We finally concluded our journey with the "Great Wines of Italy - The grand Tasting" event: organized within the IAC New York - International Academy of Consciousness, it attracted a very large number of lovers of winelovers.

Poter prender parte all'evento di James Suckling è stato per noi un onore e un'occasione per conoscere anche il pubblico di New York, dopo aver partecipato l'anno scorso a Miami.

Being able to take part in the James Suckling event was an honor for us and an opportunity to meet the New York public, after having participated last year in Miami.

Dopo un'interessante presentazione del padrone di casa, abbiamo avuto il piacere di confrontarci con un pubblico colto ed attento.

World tour 2019: New York!

Mancano pochi giorni all'inizio del nostro primo viaggio promozionale del 2019.

Avremo il piacere di presenziare all'evento GREAT WINES OF ITALY 2019 – NEW YORK CITY GRAND TASTING in programma per il 6 Marzo presso lo IAC Building.

We will have the pleasure of attending the event GRANDI VINI D'ITALIA 2019 - NEW YORK CANDY GRAND TASTING scheduled for March 6 at the IAC Building.

Verrà svolta una degustazione interattiva tra i vini più ricercati d'Italia provenienti da prestigiosi e rinomati marchi vinicoli.

150 tra le migliori aziende vinicole italiane sono state selezionate per presentare due dei loro migliori vini. Dal Brunello al Barolo, dal Super Tuscany al Barbaresco, dall'Amarone al Chianti Classico: tutti vini che hanno ottenuto punteggi migliori di 90 punti e oltre, molti dei quali sono inclusi nella lista dei 100 migliori vini italiani di James del 2018!
Siamo orgogliosi di essere stati scelti per raccontare personalmente ciò che rende i nostri vini così speciali.

Il nostro tour continuerà poi con la tradizionale esperienza presso le sedi locali della Total Wine & More: per la prima volta saremo ospiti delle sedi del New Jersey, principale bacino di utenza di New York.


150 of the best Italian wineries have been selected to present two of their best wines. From Brunello to Barolo, from Super Tuscany to Barbaresco, from Amarone to Chianti Classico: all wines that have scored better than 90 points and more, many of which are included in the list of the 100 best Italian wines of James 2018!

We are proud to have been chosen to personally tell what makes our wines so special.

Our tour will then continue with the traditional experience at the local mall of Total Wine & More: for the first time we will be guests of the New Jersey mall, the main catchment area of New York.

World Tour 2018 - Miami

"Un buon vino dovrebbe essere in grado di "muoverti" in qualche modo, come con la musica, la letteratura e l'amore" ... è una delle bandiere con cui James Suckling ha concepito il suo stile di degustazione.

"A good wine should be able to "move you" in some way, as with music, literature and love" ... is one of the flags with which James Suckling conceived his style of tasting.

Con questo intento ci siamo "mossi" rispondendo con entusiasmo all'invito di James per partecipare ad un grande evento: Great Wines of Italy USA 2018.

With this intent we have "moved" responding enthusiastically to the invitation of James to participate in a great event: Great Wines of Italy USA 2018.



















Questa edizione di Great Wines of Italy USA 2018 è stata protagonista in quattro grandi città negli Stati Uniti - New York, Miami, Beverly Hills e San Francisco - e ha attratto più di 4000 commercianti di vino e amanti del vino in totale e le Cantine Bellini, con il Dominante annata 2015 e con il Chianti Rufina Riserva 2013, sono state accreditate come uno dei 175 prestigiosi produttori di vino italiani presenti quest'anno all'evento!

Attraverso i critici professionisti di James Suckling è stato esteso all'intera America un invito collettivo agli appassionati di vini per vedere e conoscere direttamente la propria selezione.

Si è venuto a creare una sorta di catalogo vivente delle proposte più interessanti del mercato italiano incastonato in grandiosi party organizzati nelle località più suggestive della Florida e California.

This edition of Great Wines of Italy USA 2018 was featured in four major cities in the United States - New York, Miami, Beverly Hills and San Francisco - and attracted more than 4,000 wine merchants and wine lovers in total and the Cantine Bellini, with the Dominante 2015 and the Chianti Rufina Riserva 2013, have been accredited as one of the 175 prestigious Italian wine producers present this year at the event!

Through the James Suckling's professional critics, a collective invitation to wine lovers has been extended to the whole America to see and learn about their selection.

It has come to create a sort of living catalog of the most interesting proposals of the Italian market set in grandiose parties organized in the most evocative places of Florida and California.

Durante l'evento al quale abbiamo avuto l'onore di partecipare, nella città di Miami, abbiamo osservato come la degustazione dei visitatori sia divenuta un viaggio sensoriale ed emozionale attraverso le aziende che hanno saputo produrre vini che "cantano" la poesia della propria terra di origine e della passione per l'enologia che dedicano i rispettivi creatori.

During the event in which we had the honor to participate, in the city of Miami, we observed how the tasting of visitors has become a sensory and emotional journey through the companies that have been able to produce wines that "sing" the poetry of their land of origin and of the passion for the oenology that the respective creators dedicate.

Durante il nostro viaggio negli States abbiamo colto l'occasione per svolgere l'annuale presentazione e promozione dei nostri prodotti all’interno della nota catena di supermercati Total Wine & More. Quest'anno ci siamo dedicati alle 4 sedi presenti a Miami, dove sono stati allestiti appositi stand con tutti i nostri prodotti.

During our trip to the States we took the opportunity to perform the annual presentation and promotion of our products within the well-known supermarket chain Total Wine & More. This year we were dedicated to the 4 locations in Miami, where special stands have been set up with all our products.

WORLD TOUR 2016 - Fort Lauderdale

L’ultima tappa del nostro viaggio è Fort Lauderdale, popolare destinazione turistica il cui nome deriva da una serie di fortezze costruite dagli Stati Uniti durante la Seconda Guerra Seminole (il conflitto che si protrasse tra il 1835 e il 1842 in Florida tra i vari gruppi di nativi americani Seminoles e gli Stati Uniti). I forti hanno preso il nome dal maggiore William Lauderdale, comandante del distaccamento di soldati che ha costruito il primo forte.

 The last stop of our trip is Fort Lauderdale, popular tourist destination whose name derives from a series of forts built by the United States during the Second Seminole War (the conflict that lasted between 1835 and 1842 in Florida between the various groups of Native Americans Seminoles and the United States). The forts took their name from Major William Lauderdale, the commander of the detachment of soldiers who built the first fort.

Lo sviluppo della città è tuttavia cominciato quasi dopo 50 anni dalla fine del conflitto, quando fu attivato il traghetto lungo il New River e fu completato il tratto della ferrovia Florida East Coast attraverso l'area nel 1896.

The development of the city is nevertheless began almost 50 years after the end of the conflict, when it was activated the ferry along the New River and was completed stretch of the Florida East Coast Railroad through the area in 1896.

Siamo al termine di un viaggio impegnativo che ci ha visti impegnati in prima liena nel curare la clientela di importanti supermercati specializzati nella vendita di alcolici. Questo tipo di promozione permette di consolidare il rapporto di lavoro tra operatori della distribuzione (anche a livello internazionale) e accellerare il lancio di nuove etichette, come la nostra linea Mamb-O.

We are at the end of a challenging journey that has seen us engaged in the front line in curing the clientele of the major supermarkets specializing in the sale of alcohol. This type of promotion allows consolidating the working relationship between distribution operators (also internationally), and accelerate the launch of new labels, as our MAMB O-line.

L'impegno in prima persona verso il consumatore finale e verso il rivenditore riesce ad infondere un valore superiore all'assaggio e all'acquisto dei nostri vini.
Potenzialmente, questo potrebbe essere un mezzo più dinamico e diretto per fidelizzare i consumatori in varie zone del mondo, rispetto a molti eventi fieristici che abbiamo avuto modo di raccontare nel passato.

The personal commitment to the end user and to the retailer manages to instill a higher value to the taste and the purchase our wines.
Potentially, it could be a more dynamic and direct means to mantain the consumers in various parts of the world, than many trade fairs about which we've got to tell you in the past.

Tuttavia, per poter realizzare delle esposizioni periodiche nella grande distribuzione, è indispensabile uno sforzo logistico dei punti vendita che ospitano i produttori.
Per esempio, una peculiarità che permette una presentazione efficace, è quella di avere uno stand visibile, magari con la possibilità di esibire dei pannelli pubblicitari che "identifichino" l'isola promozionale all'interno del negozio; il posizionamento del banco di assaggio sempre essere nella corsia principale del reparto vini; non avere altre aziende concorrenti in esposizione nello stesso giorno e agli stessi orari: dover far concorrenza ad un'altra postazione di assaggio allestita con vini toscani sarebbe oltremodo controproducente.

However, to realize these periodic exhibitions in the superstores around the world, is indispensable the logistical effort of the stores that host the manufacturers.
For example, a characteristic that allows an effective presentation, is to have a visible stand, perhaps with the possibility to exhibit advertising panels that "identify" the promotional island within the store; the positioning of the tasting stand always in the main aisle of the wine section; have no other competing companies in exhibition on the same day and at the same times: having to compete with another location tasting prepared with Tuscan wines would be very counterproductive.

Con pochi accorgimenti logistici e organizzativi forse è possible aprire una nuova frontiera nella divulgazione di prodotti eno-gastronomici d'eccellenza, rendere più frequente e accessibile la possibilità di assaggiare un vino prima dell'acquisto direttamente nel punto vendita di fiducia. Vedremo se nel prossimo futuro avremo modo di sviluppare ulteriormente questa formula, proposta oggi ai clienti TotalWine.

With a few logistical and organizational measures, maybe it can open a new frontier in the dissemination of gastronomic products of excellence, make more frequent and accessible the opportunity to taste a wine before buying in-store trusted. We'll see if in the near future we will further develop this formula, proposed today to TotalWine customers.

WORLD TOUR 2016 - Boca Raton

La quarta tappa ci porta a Boca Raton, la città più meridionale della contea di Palm Beach.
Il nome trae origine dalla definizione che veniva data alla zona nelle antiche mappe spagnole all’estuario del fiume Reef. “Boca” significa infatti “sbocco” mentre  la parola "ratones" si riferiva alle aspre rocce taglienti presenti sul fondo del mare lungo quel tratto di costa.

The fourth stage takes us to Boca Raton, the southernmost city in Palm Beach County.
The name derives from the definition that was given to the area in the ancient Spanish maps to the estuary of the River Reef. "Boca" means "estuary" while the word "ratones" was referring to the rugged sharp rocks on the bottom of the sea along that stretch of coast.

La città di Boca Raton ha origini molto antiche: nata piccolo villaggio della tribù Tequesta, popolo di nativi americani della costa sud-atlantica della Florida, fu in seguito colonizzata dagli spagnoli.

The city of Boca Raton has very ancient origins: born like a small village of Tequesta tribe, the people of Native Americans of the South Atlantic coast of Florida, was later colonized by the Spanish.

Rimasta per lungo tempo solo un piccolo centro abitato, vede la sua espansione durante il boom del 1920, quando diversi investitori si mostrarono interessati a trasformare Boca Raton in una località turistica. Furono costruiti edifici amministrativi e un piccolo albergo per ospitare gli investitori interessati. Il Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, costruito nel 1926, in seguito ribattezzato Boca Raton Resort & Club, è uno dei pochi alberghi a 5 stelle situati in Florida.

Remained for a long time only a small town, sees its expansion during the boom of 1920, when several investors showed interest in transforming Boca Raton in a tourist resort. They were built some administrative buildings and a small hotel to accommodate interested investors. The Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, built in 1926, later renamed Boca Raton Resort & Club, is one of the few 5-star hotels are located in Florida.

Durante la seconda guerra mondiale, gran parte dei terreni agricoli circostanti Boca Raton furono utilizzati come sede del Boca Raton Army Air Force Base per i bombardieri e gli operatori radar. Oggi l’area ospita la base della Florida Atlantic University e molti dei parcheggi sono ex piste della base aerea!

During World War II, much of the surrounding farmland Boca Raton was used as headquarters of the Boca Raton Army Air Force Base for the bomber crews and radar operators. Today the area is home to the base of the Florida Atlantic University and many of the parking lots are former runways of the air base!

Alla fine del 1960, l'International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) ha annunciato l'intenzione di aprire un impianto di produzione nella zona IBM. L’imponente complesso industriale ha mantenuto attive le sue strutture fino al 1996, quando l'impianto è stato chiuso. Oggi, T-REX ha trasformato l’intera struttura e le sue realizzando un parco commerciale e di ricerca.

In the late 1960s, the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) has announced their intentions to open a manufacturing plant in the area. The massive industrial complex has kept active its structures until 1996, when the plant was closed. Today, T-REX has revitalized the facility and its surrounding real estate into a business/research park.

Boca Raton rappresenta una delle comunità più ricche nel sud della Florida ed è considerata una delle principali città della zona metropolitana di Miami.
Solo per fare alcuni esempi, Boca Raton è sede, oltre che del campus principale della Florida Atlantic University, della Centrale di Office Depot e ADT e anche del Tennis Academy Evert. Il Town Center Mall, un centro commerciale di lusso a West Boca Raton, è il più grande centro commerciale al coperto della Contea di Palm Beach.

Boca Raton is one of the richest communities in South Florida and is considered one of the major cities in the Miami metropolitan area.
Just to give some examples, Boca Raton is home, in addition to the main campus of Florida Atlantic University, the Central Office Depot and ADT and also of the Evert Tennis Academy. The Town Center Mall, an upscale shopping center in West Boca Raton, is the largest indoor shopping center of Palm Beach County.

Molti edifici della zona hanno uno stile architettonico particolare, che ricorda il coloniale spagnolo, ispirato da Addison Mizner, architetto che ha influenzato stilisticamente lo sviluppo della città. Ancora oggi, Boca Raton ha un codice regolamentare rigoroso per quanto riguarda le dimensioni ed i tipi di edifici commerciali, per la progettazione di nuove lottizzazioni e addirittura per la scelta delle tipologie di pubblicità che possono essere erette entro i confini della città.

Many buildings in the area have a particular architectural style, reminiscent of the Spanish colonial manner, inspired by Addison Mizner, an architect who has influenced stylistically the development of the city. Even today, Boca Raton has a strict regulatory code regarding the size and types of commercial buildings, for the design of new planning areas and even for the choice of the types of advertising that can be erected within the boundaries of cities.

Al banco degustazione le bottiglie che sono schierate, rappresentano vini con target diversi. La linea Mamb-O è decisamente più orientata a un pubblico giovane mentre la linea classica Cantine Bellini e Podere "Il Pozzo" è consigliabile per palati raffinati. Non dobbiamo dimenticare che tutti questi vini sono confezionati dalle stesse sapienti mani e promossi da un'azienda certificata (e premiata ) per la sua qualità.

At the stand tasting, the bottles that are deployed represent wines with different targets. The Mamb-O line is definitely more geared to a younger audience while the classic line Cantine Bellini and the Podere "Il Pozzo" is recommended for refined palates. We must not forget that all these wines are packaged by the same expert hands and promoted by a certified (and rewarded) for its quality.

WORLD TOUR 2016 - Boynton

Dopo una breve pausa ci spostiamo, sempre verso sud, a Boynton Beach.

After a short break we go, always heading south, to Boynton Beach.

Nel 1894, prima ancora che fosse costruita la ferrovia che ancora oggi serve la città, un ex militare della Guerra civile americana di nome Nathan Boynton, rimase affascinato da questa località, che ancora oggi porta il suo nome.

In 1894, before it was built the railroad that still serves the city, a former American Civil War major named Nathan Boynton first set eyes on the area that now bears his name.

Proveniente da Port Huron, in Michigan, rimase così impressionato dalla bellezza naturale, dal clima favorevole e dalle bellissime spiagge incontaminate, che decise di trasferirsi e di investire tutti i suoi averi nella costruzione di un albergo, il famoso Boynton Hotel. I primi coloni, che Boynton portò con sé dal Michigan, ben presto si resero conto dell’eccezionale fertilità del terreno e degli ottimi prodotti che se ne potevano ricavare.

Boynton hailed from Port Huron, Michigan, was so impressed by the natural beauty, the pleasant climate and the beautiful unspoilt beaches, that decided to move and invest all his possessions in the construction of a hotel, the famous Boynton Hotel. The first settlers, whom Boynton had brought along from Michigan, soon realized that many fruits and vegetables thrived in the fertile climate.

Con la fine della realizzazione della Air Line Railway si incrementò moltissimo lo sviluppo del territorio circostante il piccolo abitato di Boyton e i terreni divennero sempre più preziosi, con il conseguente ampliamento dell’insediamento residenziale.

With the end of the realization of the Air Line Railway, the development of the area surrounding the original small village increased greatly and the land became more valuable, resulting in the residential settlement expansion.

A ovest, si sviluppò anche un’area industriale, con molti caseifici, tanto che la zona divenne il fornitore principale di latte della Contea di Palm Beach. Dal 1970, i caseifici divennero sempre meno redditizi e quasi tutti i complessi produttivi furono demoliti o convertiti in abitazioni.

To the west, many dairies were founded so that the Boynton area became the main milk supplier for Palm Beach County. By the 1970s, the dairies were no longer profitable and almost all production complexes were demolished or converted into housing.

Elemento caratterizzante Boynton Beach è l’Oceanfront Park, che si trova appena a nord del sito originale del Boynton Hotel: realizzato nel 1920, ha da subito attratto l’attenzione di residenti e visitatori. A metà degli anni '90 il parco ha subito un rinnovamento importante che ha rivalorizzato l’intera area tanto che nel 2001 è stato votato come la miglior spiaggia per famiglie di tutta il Palm Beach.

The Boynton Beach characteristic element is the Oceanfront Park, which is located just north of the original Boynton Hotel site: from the 1920s to today, Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park has been popular with residents and visitors alike. In the mid-90s, the park has undergone a major renovation that has reclaimed the entire area so much that in 2001 he was voted as the best beach for families across Palm Beach.

Nel banco di assaggio principale del negozio abbiamo potuto disporre di un'ottima visibilità ed essere effettivamente al centro dell'attenzione dei clienti.

Ci sentiamo un pò come dei fiabeschi guardiani di un liquido tesoro; questo è lo spirito con cui viene svolto il nostro presidio nei negozi che stiamo visitando.
Gli incontri con i clienti Total Wine non vengono svolti da un semplice rappresentante o venditore ma da un vero artigiano del vino: un custode di antiche tradizioni contadine e contemporaneamente un interprete del gusto del nostro tempo.

In the main expositive stand of taste of the store we could have had a good visibility, effectively to customer focus.

We felt a bit like the fairy guardians of a treasure liquid; this is the spirit in which we conduct our garrison in stores we are visiting.
The meetings with clients of the Total Wine stores shall not be performed by a simple representative or seller but by a true craftsman of the wine: a keeper of ancient traditions and simultaneously an interpreter of the taste of our time.

La nostra degustazione proposta ai clienti trae la sua enfasi dall'amore per la terra, dalla pazienza di seguire l'andamento stagionale, dalla cura della vigna e poi dalla creatività nell'ideare il vino in cantina, che come il tessuto che, nelle sapienti mani del sarto, diventa abito elegante e talvolta raffinato.

Our tasting offered to customers draws its emphasis from the love for the land, the patience to follow the seasonal trend, from the care of the vineyard and then by the creativity in designing the wine in the cellar, that as the tissues that, in the wise hands of the tailor, become elegant and sometimes refined dresses.

E' facile creare una speciale empatia con i visitatori del negozio, appassionarli con il nostro entusiasmo e far apprezzare la qualità dei nostri prodotti. Troviamo molto interessante che diversi visitatori ci chiedano suggerimenti per ricette e accostamenti gastronomici da proporre col nostro vino.

Vista la location marina è stata anche un'occasione perfetta per confrontarci sull'utilizzo del limoncello nei cocktail da spiaggia ( proporremo prossimamente qualche idea per un aperitivo rinfrescante).

It's easy to create a special empathy with the visitors of the shop, make them excited by our enthusiasm and appreciate the quality of our products. We find it very interesting that many visitors ask us suggestions for recipes and food combinations to offer with our wine.

Thanks of the marina location, it was also a perfect opportunity to confront the use of the limoncello in the beach's cocktail (shortly, we'll propose some ideas for a refreshing aperitif).
