SFIZIOSE RICETTE - I dobloni di Re Giocondo

Carnevale è conosciuto nella tradizione popolare toscana anche come il regno del Re Giocondo.
Per entrare in questo regno è sufficiente una maschera e una buona dose di allegria.

Carnival is known in the popular Tuscan tradition as the reign of the King Giocondo.
To enter this realm is requested only a mask and a good dose of humor.

In questo luogo magico, anche se perpetua l'inverno, il clima viene riscaldato da scherzi e facezie che, pian piano, colorano il mondo fino a portare la primavera.

In this magical place, although is still winter, the climate is heated by jokes and witticisms that, little by little, color the world bringing it to the spring.

Non tutti però sanno che il re del Carnevale cela nascosto un goloso tesoro che contiene splendide frittelle a forma di doblone...
Ecco una semplice ricetta che trasformerà una mascherata in una eccitante caccia al tesoro:

But not everyone knows that the King of Carnival hid a treasure that contains wonderful pancakes shaped doubloon ...
Here is a simple recipe that will transform a masquerade in an exciting treasure hunt:

Frittelle con uva e Brandy                                 Pancakes with raisins and Brandy

170 gr d’uva fragola                                               170 gr of strawberry grapes
80 ml di latte                                                          80 ml of milk
120 gr di farina                                                      120 gr of flour
1 bustina di lievito in polvere                                  a packet of baking power
2 uova                                                                   2 eggs
1 bicchierino di Brandy                                         1 shot of Brandy
60 gr di zucchero                                                  60 gr of sugar
un pizzico di sale                                                  salt
½ cucchiaino di cannella                                      half a teaspoon of cinnamon
zucchero a velo                                                    icing sugar

Sbattere i tuorli delle uova con lo zucchero e aggiungere a poco a poco il latte, il sale e il brandy. Aggiungere quindi la farina setacciata, la cannella e il lievito e mescolare fin quando non si ottiene una crema morbida e omogenea. Montare  neve gli albumi e unirli delicatamente alla crema preparata precedentemente. Aggiungere gli acini d’uva, lavati ed asciugati.

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar and add gradually the milk, salt and brandy. Then add the flour, cinnamon and baking powder and mix until you get a smooth paste and homogeneous. Mount the egg whites and add them gently to the cream prepared previously. Add the grapes, washed and dried.

Scaldare in una padella un’abbondante quantità di olio di semi e versare l’impasto a cucchiaiate.  

Heat a frying pan with some arachis oil and pour the mixture in spoonfuls.

Servire le frittelle spolverate con lo zucchero a velo.

Serve the pancakes dusted with icing sugar.

Non rimane che riempire un contenitore alimentare con le frittelle, nasconderlo e poi disegnare una...mappa del tesoro!

All that remains is to fill a food container with the pancakes, hide it and then draw a... treasure map!

I bambini si divertiranno un mondo a cercare di scovare i dobloni di re Giocondo e i grandi potranno assistere alla loro avventurosa ricerca, sorseggiando un bicchiere di Vin Santo Cantine Bellini.

Children will have a blast looking for the doubloons King Giocondo and the adults will attend their adventurous search, sipping a glass of Vin Santo Cantine Bellini.
 

Vino, amore e fotografia

Uno degli obiettivi principali di questo Blog è sempre stato quello di esplorare quella dimensione di spensierata semplicità che si crea quando viene stappata una bottiglia di vino.

A major focus of this blog has always been to explore that dimension of carefree simplicity that is created when you uncork a bottle of wine.

Per chiudere in bellezza la stagione 2015, il fotografo Paolo Pelli ci ha regalato una occasione speciale per ritrarre le gioiose sensazioni che evoca il vino, organizzando il 9 dicembre una serata aperta a tutti gli amanti del gusto e della fotografia.

To round off the year 2015, the photographer Paolo Pelli gave us a special opportunity to portray the joyful feelings that evokes the wine, organizing on December 9 an event open to all lovers of taste and photography.

Il tema su cui sono chiamati ad esprimersi gli artisti di Reggello è semplice ma molto impegnativo: Pane, Olio, Vino e Fotografia. Il ritrovo presso la macelleria "Da Giovanni" è perfettamente pensato per riunire, sotto forma di prelibati spuntini, tutti gli elementi del titolo della locandina. 
Panino con salsiccia, bruschetta con olio nuovo e un calice di vino di Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo, scelto per l'occasione dal sommelier Guido Orlandi, sono stati complici dell' "ispirazione" sul set fotografico.

The theme on which the artists are called to speak of Reggello is simple but very challenging: Bread, olive oil, wine and Photography. The meeting at the butchery "Da Giovanni" is perfectly designed to bring together, in the form of delicious snacks, all elements of the title of the event.
Sandwich with sausage, bruschetta with fresh oil and a glass of wine Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo, chosen for the occasion by the sommelier Guido Orlandi, were accomplices of '"inspiration" photo shoot.

L'intrigante bottiglia nera con la luna riflessa nel Pozzo continua ad essere protagonista della serata, chiamata direttamente ad essere ritratta con una vera modella sotto i riflettori del bar Regios.

The intriguing black bottle with the moon reflected in the Well continues to be star of the evening, called to be portrayed with a model in the spotlight of the Regios bar.

L'affascinante Cristiana Bellugi diviene musa che incarna la ricerca della felicità terrena attraverso la "tentazione" di abbandonarsi alle passioni, ovviamente partendo da quelle della buona cucina e del buon bere.

The charming Cristiana Bellugi becomes muse who embodies the pursuit of earthly happiness through the "temptation" to surrender to the passions, obviously starting with those of good food and good drink.

Nelle foto che proponiamo sulla nostra pagina, lo splendido sorriso di Cristiana descrive meglio di qualsiasi frase la letizia avvolgente del profumo del vino e la morbidezza dei tannini che accarezzano il palato.

In the pictures that we offer on our page, the beautiful smile of Cristiana describes better than any sentence the joy of the enveloping scent of wine and soft tannins that caress the palate.

Nel primo post di aprile del 2010 avevamo già espresso l'intenzione di presentare persone che condividano con noi la propria personale esperienza emozionale quando consumano il vino. Oggi, grazie a questa interessante iniziativa, possiamo proporre uno splendido esempio di come questa passione può esprimersi.

Ringraziamo di cuore tutte le persone che hanno preso parte all'organizzazione della serata e soprattutto ai fotografi che hanno raccolto l'invito. Per il nostro blog queste foto non sono da considerarsi dei semplici esercizi di stile ma autentici capolavori dell'immagine!  


In the first post in April of 2010 we had already expressed its intention to present people who share with us their own personal emotional experience when they consume wine. Today, thanks to this interesting initiative, we propose a splendid example of how this passion can be expressed.

We thank all the people who took part in the organization of the evening and especially photographers who have accepted the invitation. For our blog these photos are not mere exercises in style but authentic masterpieces of the image!

Dopo aver portato a conoscere il nostro vino in giro per il mondo, ci rilassiamo un attimo alla calda atmosfera del Natale... finalmente a casa.

La suggestiva città di Firenze colora i suoi palazzi storici e momumenti più famosi per celebrare la festa della luce. Passeggiando per le strade del centro ci si incanta con le curiose proiezioni che rendono ancora più unici i suoi tesori artistici.

After bringing to know our wines around the world, we relax for a moment in the warm atmosphere of Christmas ... home at last. 

The city of Florence has colored her most famous historic buildings and monuments to celebrate the festival of light. Walking through the streets of downtown we are enchanted with the strange screenings that make it even more unique its artistic treasures.

Abbiamo approfittato delle installazioni del Firenze Light Festival per confezionare una insolita cartolina e  augurare a tutti i nostri lettori un Natale pieno di meraviglia e serenità.

Dunque in alto i calici e brindiamo con un bel calice di Chianti Rufina Podere il Pozzo!!
